Over the past 10 years, as part of our efforts to connect Vietnam and Japan, Kilala has had the opportunity to work with Japanese tourism organizations and media partners on various campaigns introducing the appeal of Japan to Vietnamese audiences. As we look back on this journey and continue moving forward, we would like to introduce five tourism promotion campaigns carried out by Kilala.
1. Communications Campaigns for Kansai TV
Since 2017, Kansai TV in Japan and Voice of Vietnam (VOV) have collaborated to produce the reality TV program the Vietnamese version of “Run! Gulliver-kun”. As a communications partner for the program, Kilala supported a range of activities, including content production and promotion across Kilala’s media channels, online media and KOL booking, advertising on Meta and Google, promotion for the Season 4 fan meeting event, and audience surveys.

The documentary was jointly produced by Kansai TV, Voice of Vietnam (VOV), and VTC Digital Television to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
2 . Tourism Promotion Representative Office for Aichi Prefecture
As the tourism promotion representative office for Aichi Prefecture for two consecutive years, in 2020 and 2021, Kilala actively supported communications activities across online platforms, organized seminars, and connected with travel businesses in Vietnam. Through these efforts, we helped bring the nature, culture, cuisine, and people of Aichi closer to Vietnamese people.

As a result, the campaign reached over 1 million users across online platforms and received responses from nearly 700 survey participants.
4. Tourism Seminar for Nagasaki and Saga Prefectures
In 2023, Kilala worked with the Saga Prefecture Tourism Federation and the Nagasaki Prefecture Tourism Federation to organize the seminar “Travel to Nagasaki and Saga Prefectures, Japan” for travel companies in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The seminar provided a wide range of information on sightseeing spots, accommodation, leisure activities, local specialties, and travel experiences that visitors can enjoy when visiting the two prefectures.
