About Kilala

Founded in 2013, Kilala is on a mission to bring Japanese culture and values closer to the Vietnamese people, partnering with brands, organizations, and local governments in diverse cross-border exchange initiatives.

Kilala’s predecessor was CETUS Vietnam Co., Ltd., a 100% Japanese-owned company operating in printing and website design since 2003.

Building on this foundation, Kilala was established in 2013 with the mission of bringing Japanese culture and values closer to Vietnamese audiences, while working with brands, organizations, and local governments on various exchange activities between Vietnam and Japan.

Over more than a decade, Kilala has built a strong community of readers who love Japanese culture and has become a trusted reference channel for those who want to learn more about Japan. This journey has allowed us to develop deep experience in content creation and communications, enabling us to convey cultural values to the right audiences through the right approach.

We believe that the way a story is told can open up a deeper understanding of a culture, helping brands be received more naturally and laying the foundation for long-term partnerships.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

Unlocking value
to forge connections,
building trust
for long-term partnership.

Kilala’s philosophy is built on three principles that guide how we approach every piece of content, project, and campaign.

  1. 1

    Uncovering Hidden Values

Every person, brand, and region has its own story and identity. By taking an approach that fits each context, Kilala helps these values be fully recognized and turn them into starting points for new connections and opportunities for collaboration.

  2. 2

    Communicating with Sincerity and Trust

Trust is built through consistency in communication and action. That is why Kilala values accuracy, transparency, and responsibility in every piece of content and activity, seeing them as the foundation for building trust with partners, readers, and communities.

  3. 3

Creating Positive Value for the Community

Every project is an opportunity to bring people, businesses, and organizations from the two countries closer together. Through communications, culture, and community activities, Kilala aims to be a long-term partner in promoting exchange and nurturing Vietnam–Japan relations. Through media content and connection-driven events, Kilala hopes to be a long-term partner in promoting exchange and nurturing Vietnam–Japan relations.
